Tests and Certificates

  • CIPLE - Certificado Inicial de Português Língua Estrangeira: A2
  • DEPLE- Diploma Elementar de Português Língua Estrangeira: B1
  • DIPLE - Diploma Intermédio de Português Língua Estrangeira: B2
  • DAPLE - Diploma Avançado de Português Língua Estrangeira: C1
  • DUPLE - Diploma Universitário de Português Língua Estrangeira: C2
  • CELPE - Certificado de Proficiência en Língua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros is the internationally recognised language certificate of the Brazilian Ministry of Education. It tests the Portuguese skills of non-native speakers.

 

Our language courses prepare you for the certificates. However, these are not specific preparation courses. Please inform yourself about the course format during the first session.

DAAD Proof of Language Skills (Sprachnachweis)

The following skills are examined:

  • Listening
  • Writing
  • Reading comprehension
  • Speaking

 

You can take skills 1-3 with the diagnostic language test on the following days and times in language lab 3 (KG I, room 1030):
Monday to Thursday: 9am - 4pm

Please make an appointment and note possible changes to the opening hours at: www.sli.uni-freiburg.de/selbstlern/sprachlabor

You can pay the examination fee by debit or credit card on the day of the test at the language laboratory.

After the test, please bring your student ID to the language lab supervisor. They will then confirm your results on the corresponding form. Since it is an online test, the results will NOT be saved.

To complete the DAAD proof of language skills (Sprachnachweis), you need to schedule an appointment with

Please bring the results of the written test and your student ID to this appointment.

Please allow at least two weeks for the test to be taken and the certificate to be issued.

We offer DAAD language certificates ONLY for students of the Freiburg universities (Uni, PH, EFH, KFH, Musikhochschule). Please present the relevant proof at the time of registration.
