The experience of regional studies is not only conveyed through language instruction in our courses, but also outside the classroom in the form of a weekly changing leisure and social programme. We offer a wide variety of extra-curricular activities in and around Freiburg. Our student tutors organize city tours, pub nights, game and cooking nights, museums visits, as well as excursions to places of interest in the region. These activities give you the opportunity to get acquainted with Freiburg and the surrounding area in small groups.
There will be a number of Saturday excursions, for instance to an original Black Forest village or to France. Excursion fees are between 15,- and 30,- €. You will find the detailed programme in your course booklet upon arrival. As the number of participants is limited to 40 or 50 persons, please be aware that you may not be able to participate in all day trips.
